technology

Every day I use my cell phone, computer, radio, and other technology. People don't realize how much we depend on it these days. I use my cell phone for communication and text messaging I stay in touch with everyone I need to so much easier than before my cell phone. I love how there is a phone book to keep all the numbers in place too.

I use the computer everyday for email and searching the web. It influences the things I do because I use the internet to check for movie times, parties, and even restaurants. I use blackboard for school to do my homework and it would be hard to get anything done without my computer. I depend on technology even for my calendar. I don't know how well I would be organized without it.

Even at my job, I do a lot of filing and searching directories. It would make my job so much harder without the technology to just type it in and press search. Technology has influenced absolutely everyone in this world. Without it, we wouldn't have any of the advanced things that we have now such as cell phones, ebay, television, space travel, and even pictures. Technology can really shape a persons life.

I see that you are very positive about the effects of technology on your life and society as a whole. While I agree with the majority of these statements, I think you would find it most beneficiary to explore outside your dependence on technology to assist you in life. There are so many things that can only be done without a computer, cell phone, or camera!

By the way, you are the only other person I know that spells your middle name the same way I do!

I use to have everything in my cell phone: numbers, email addresses, and a basic schedule of each day(what time i work and what time i go to school). Recently it broke, and i realized how much i need my cell phone. i can't even imagine not having one at all. It makes me feel lucky having the opportunity to use such great devices.

I am dependant on my cellphone and computer like so many other people in this blog cluster are. If my cell phone broke I think I would be lost. Since I can store all my numbers in it I really don't see the need to memorize them anymore. I am not as dependant on a computer as most seem to be. I only use it to do homework and very little for other things I need.

I also use technology and electronics to a great deal as well. I am extremely dependent on my phone, computer, and internet. Just losing internet at my house for a few hours throws me off. One time I had to reformat my hard-drive on my computer and I feel like I lose so much. If I were to lose using my computer in general I'm not sure how I would get by.

When I was in China, technology wasn't entirely dependable. Not because it isn't available, that is far from the truth, but because of the rapid growth of the country technology isn't always reliable.

I was out of contact with my friends and family back home quite often. I had close friends with me in China, but honestly, if it weren't for my iPod (more technology), which I only needed to charge, I would have lost my mind.

I agree that I would be lost with out the computer because I use the computer at work all the time to look up names and other types of files, and it would make my job much harder without it.

I agree that things in our life would be a lot harder if we didn't have technology, especially in the working field. Having the computer for school and communication needs is nice, and also having a cell phone for another way of communication is convienient as well. Our world is very dependent upon technology, which is a good thing in most ways, but there are also downsides to technology.

Cell phone and computer are very essential for me too, but I don’t use radio so I don’t know how important for you. The technology helps us a lot in our daily life.

People are lazy, so they got inventions. The development of human technology actually is a process that intelligence labor replaces physical labor. However nowadays, human beings are so dependent on technologies that people could not live without technologies. In the case of United States, the economy will go backward 200 years if the country is attacked by impulse weapons. For me, a Chinese student, I even could not be here, and leave my comment to you without technologies!

Hi, Amys
I strongly agree with you. We even couldn't live without technology. Cell phones, radios and computers are all so important and useful. With them, we could do our homework; search infromation and even travel the world. In my opinion, because we live with technology and we know how helpful it is, we couldn't give up it. Maybe the ancient people thought technoloty was useless. However, nearly all of us use computers several hours a day. After that, no one can deny the importance of technology in our lives.

Now we live in an age of technology. Nearly everything contains something about technology. To face it, to adapt it, and to enjoy it. Nor can I imagine the life without technology just like you. Sometimes I just think, if we depend it too much? What the life would be like without the technology? that scared me. We need to learn some physical skills which I think is necessary.

I can't agree with you anymore.I think I dependent on technology too. without cellphone, computer,or television, life will be boring for sure. everyday we need to use advanced things in communication and obtaining information. without them, I think we'll be lost.

Apparently, you enjoy your modern life. Like you, I am dependent on my cell phone, too. Especially, I am forgetful, so I need my cell phone to remind me what I am going to do expect contacting my friends. However, last month I could not use my cell phone sometimes, but I feel the world around me became quiet. I had enough time for thinking. I think it is a good try.

Hi, Amys.
I agree with you, because in my blog I also talk about the cell phone, computer. I think these two are the most useful tools in the modern world. We have to connect with the world. We need to communicate to our friends. For me, I need to talk to my parent using computer and cell phone, because they are on the other side of the world.
